Manchester picks head of cardiovascular institute

Keavney will leave his position as a British Heart Foundation Personal Chair in Cardiology at Newcastle University. The new institute incorporates the cardiovascular group from the now-defunct School of Biomedicine as part of Manchester’s plans to restructure schools and groups into institutes.
