London Met crisis needs tackling, says UCU

The University and College Union has called on governors of London Metropolitan University to “urgently intervene in the running of the university” after a survey of staff showed that 91 per cent have lost confidence in LMU's vice-chancellor, Malcolm Gilles.

The union is pushing for a meeting with LMU officials to discuss “ways forward for the university”, which is facing hefty cuts to courses and staff.
