Funding for social entrepreneurship ‘catalysts’ awarded

Fifty-six higher education institutions are to receive funding as part of a £2 million social entrepreneurship programme, it was announced on 9 August.

The initiative, funded by the Higher Education Funding Council for England, aims to develop sustainable support systems that will act as catalysts for up-and-coming social entrepreneurs within HEIs.
