Pearson launches degree college

The owner of the Financial Times has launched a higher education college, making it the first FTSE 100 company to directly deliver degrees in the UK.

The Pearson Business and Enterprise degree, announced 14 August and costing £6,500 a year, was developed with advice from a number of businesses and allows students to study in a “corporate environment” at Pearson’s offices.
