London Met students given three months reprieve

International students facing deportation after London Metropolitan University lost its visa-granting powers will have until the end of November to find a place elsewhere.

The UK Border Agency has announced that it will take no action to deport international students for at least one month from the date it revoked London Met’s licence (29 August). The revocation gave 60 days for students to find a course in another university or leave the UK.
