Swansea University is set to begin construction of an engineering and manufacturing centre, thanks to an investment of more than £20 million from the European Regional Development Fund.
The centre, which will form part of the university’s planned science and innovation campus, has also received financial support from the European Investment Bank.
It will host university R&D in civil, computational, electronic, materials and mechanical engineering, and is also intended to support collaborations with industry.
