Man jailed for attacks on Oxbridge websites

A man who tried to compromise a number of corporate websites, including those of the Universities of Cambridge and Oxford, has been sentenced to two years' imprisonment.

In 2012, Lewys Martin attempted to disrupt Cambridge and Oxford’s public-facing websites by overwhelming both with requests for information.

This led to temporary disruption of the websites, but Martin did not compromise or gain access to them.
