Successful part-time learners are being encouraged to share their stories with their MPs, as part of a campaign to increase the numbers of students enrolling on part-time courses.
The Part-Time Matters campaign, launched on 20 May, aims to promote the benefits of part-time study to the economy and society following a reported 40 per cent drop in enrolment between 2010-11 and 2012-13.
The campaign is backed by a number of organisations including Universities UK, Birkbeck University of London, higher education representative body GuildHE, the Open University, university group Million+, the National Institute of Adult Continuing Education and the National Union of Students.
