The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) is to fund a hub for research into German studies at the University of Cambridge, the UK Science and Innovation Network has announced.
The network said on 28 March that the DAAD would provide €1m (£730,000) over five years to create the hub, which will build on the university’s existing research into German studies and create a platform for the public exploration of such themes.
The hub will support workshops and collaborations between Cambridge and German universities, public debates, and an annual conference, the UK Science and Innovation Network says.
