The N8 Research Partnership of northern universities is looking for its next director, following Peter Simpson’s announcement that he is stepping down.
On 21 April, the organisation said that after two years in the role Simpson was leaving to become chief scientific officer of the Medicines Discovery Catapult.
Under his direction, the N8 launched several cross-sectoral collaborations—including the AgriTech programme and the Policing Research Partnership collaboration—and a refreshed strategy.
