Russell Group urges clarity on OfS role

The government should provide more information on how the Office for Students will take decisions and when it will intervene, the Russell Group of larger, research-intensive universities has said.

In its response to a government consultation on the OfS, the group highlighted transparency and accountability as crucial principles determining the regulator’s success.
