Peter Ratcliffe fears no-deal exit could hit bid for European Union grant

Even as he celebrated winning the highest prize a researcher can obtain, one UK scientist took time out to bemoan the impact of Brexit last week.

In an exclusive interview with Research Fortnight, the 2019 Nobel prize in medicine winner Peter Ratcliffe said, “All that’s being argued is the scale of the impediment—there is no upside to this from the scientific perspective.”
