High-quality research is “not all about theoretical physics”, says planned institution’s chief executive
The proposed Milton Keynes University will offer “a different kind of research” from more traditional and established universities, its chief executive has said as she defended the right to call MKU a university.
Lynette Ryals, chief executive of MKU and pro vice-chancellor of Cranfield University—which owns MKU—told Research Professional News that the university would offer “applied research” and use the town to run “live field experiments” around traffic flows and autonomous vehicles.
