University and College Union agrees eight days of strike action for November
Winter strikes look set to return to universities across the country for the second time in two years.
Members of the University and College Union (UCU) are set to walk out for eight days from 25 November to 4 December, after voting for industrial action in a ballot over contribution changes to the Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS) and one on pay and conditions. Staff previously took action over pension contribution increases in February 2018.
