Many English institutions unlikely to use research package that ties support to senior pay
Research Professional News understands that many universities are unlikely to be taking part in the government’s research-support package announced on 6 November, given the conditions attached.
Major university groupings would not immediately comment on the newly released plans on the Sustaining University Research Expertise (Sure) package comprising low-interest loans and government grants.
