Majority of staff have voted to scrap the fees by 2024-25, overturning an earlier decision
Staff at the University of Oxford have voted to scrap the institution’s controversial £75 graduate application fee, following concerns that it was restricting access to the elite university.
In the postal vote of the university’s congregation, the institution’s sovereign body, staff voted 419 to 380 in favour of scrapping the fee, overturning an earlier vote with a smaller turnout.
