Sheffield professor appointed NMITE’s academic director

Gary Wood, a national teaching fellow, to join the nascent technology institution

The head of the Sheffield Engineering Leadership Academy at the University of Sheffield, Gary Wood, has been appointed academic director of the New Model Institute for Technology and Engineering.

NMITE is a recently established institution that aims to deliver a new model for higher education in engineering by integrating liberal arts and interpersonal skills with project-based learning.
