Innovation district is expected to encourage greater collaboration in science and technology development

The University of Manchester has picked a partner to deliver its £1.5 billion innovation district, which it says will help the city play a central role in the UK’s science and technology sector.

It is hoped that the development will allow businesses to collaborate on research and innovation, in order “to cement the UK’s position in the science and technology sector” while helping the economy recover from the Covid-19 pandemic.
