OfS consults on ‘equality of opportunity risk register’

   

England's higher education regulator launches consultation on access and participation plans

 The Office for Students has opened its consultation of how it regulates equality of opportunity in English institutions.

The proposals, announced last week, include the creation of an equality of opportunity risk register which the OfS says would set out “sector-level risks” to access and participation, such as attainment gaps between different demographics of school pupils and a lack of “non-traditional” routes in higher education.
