Coalition of UK Stem organisations will provide mentoring programme to Black A-level students

A coalition of UK-based science, technology, engineering and mathematics organisations has announced that it will launch a mentoring scheme to help Black students get into university.

Led by the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications (IMA) and the London Mathematical Society (LMS), the scheme will assign A-level students to small virtual tutorial groups where they will be taught and mentored by undergraduates at participating universities.
