Nation has quietly cancelled membership in International Association for Exchange of Students for Technical Experience

UK governments have quietly pulled out of a global student exchange programme, in a move that some say will limit student opportunities.

The International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience (IAESTE) used to be managed by the British Council, but with no single UK body now coordinating the scheme, the number of students taking part is expected to plummet.
