Australian university boss with engineering background to lead Aston
Aston University has appointed Aleks Subic, currently a deputy vice-chancellor at Australia’s RMIT University, as its next vice-chancellor.
Subic (pictured) will take over from interim vice-chancellor Saskia Loer Hansen in August 2022. Aston University’s former vice-chancellor, Alec Cameron, stepped down in December 2021 after five years in the role.
