Universities tolerating ‘systematic antisemitism’, says Johnson

Prime minister calls for a taskforce to investigate antisemitism in education

Prime minister Boris Johnson has said that universities are tolerant of systemic antisemitism, and has called for a taskforce to look into the issue.

During Prime Minister’s Questions on 23 March, Conservative MP Andrew Percy said that, during his work chairing the All-Party Parliamentary Group against Antisemitism, he had heard Jewish students reporting “record antisemitic attacks on university campuses”.
