Julie Sanders to take over from Paul Layzell this autumn
Julie Sanders has been appointed the next principal of Royal Holloway, University of London.
Sanders, a professor of English literature and drama, is currently deputy vice-chancellor and provost at Newcastle University. She will take up her new position in October, and succeeds Paul Layzell, who is retiring after 12 years in the role.
