
Jo Grady attacks vice-chancellors for toeing the line on “the government’s reductive higher education agenda”
The University and College Union has called on education secretary Nadhim Zahawi to stop what it calls a “dangerous assault” on arts and humanities provision in England.
In the letter, UCU head Jo Grady (pictured) urged Zahawi to reverse cuts to funding for arts and creative subjects, and to stop attacking what the government has called “low value” courses at universities.
