Union survey finds increase in workloads, with teaching staff hit harder than researchers
University staff say that their workloads have increased dramatically in the past three years, with more than a third of those responding to a union survey saying their in-tray is unmanageable.
The findings were reported by the University and College Union, which surveyed 13,000 union and non-union staff in universities, colleges and other education settings.
