Agency moves to address shortfall identified by regulator

The Higher Education Statistics Agency is to merge data about higher education provision in further education settings with its other datasets.

Hesa said it wanted to ingest college higher education data with its wider university higher education data to make its statistical work more consistent and allow for easier comparisons across the sector. The announcement came after the Office for Statistics Regulation said the current approach was falling short.
