Jisc’s new guide gives tips on financial and environmental sustainability amid rising IT costs

The UK’s higher education IT firm Jisc has launched a new guide on financial and environmental sustainability to help universities and colleges when making decisions around IT.

Published on 19 August, the guide—which was funded by the Welsh government but is said to be relevant to all UK universities—covers a range of topics including IT procurement, user support, device choice and maintenance, energy costs, printing, cloud, security and equipment disposal, recycling and reuse.
