OfS sets out student outcome ‘thresholds’

Universities that fall short could be fined or see tuition fees cut

The Office for Students has suggested introducing student outcome “thresholds” that it would expect higher education courses to meet.

In a consultation document released on 20 January, England’s higher education regulator says higher education providers that continue to offer what it terms “poor-quality courses” will face tough regulatory action.
