University of Sussex picks next vice-chancellor

Sasha Roseneil will lead the institution from August

Social scientist Sasha Roseneil has been chosen as the University of Sussex’s next vice-chancellor.

Roseneil, who is currently pro-provost for equality and inclusion at University College London, will take over from interim vice-chancellor David Maguire in August. Former vice-chancellor Adam Tickell became the University of Birmingham leader earlier this month.
