Centre “unique” in its focus on the impact of AI in Africa, Asia and the Middle East
The School of Oriental and African Studies has launched an artificial intelligence research centre in partnership with the Helsinki Institute of Social Sciences and Humanities, in Finland, and technology company Quilt.ai.
Soas said the new Centre for AI Futures is “unique globally in its exclusive focus on the implications of AI in countries of Africa, Asia and the Middle East”.
