
Robert Halfon urges vice-chancellors to tackle issue on campuses and calls on OfS to act
The higher education minister has said that the government will explore the introduction of an antisemitism charter for universities and the withdrawal of visas from international students found to have incited racial hatred.
Robert Halfon said he had heard “horrendous reports of a rise in antisemitism on campus” in the wake of the Israel-Gaza conflict and that, in response, the government would take steps to ensure that universities do what they can to address it.
