Halfon: All universities ‘should offer degree apprenticeships’

Minister also urges institutions to give vocational qualifications parity with A-levels

The minister with responsibility for higher education has said that all universities that do not currently offer degree apprenticeships should begin to do so.

Robert Halfon, minister for skills, apprenticeships and higher education, said on 7 February that “degree apprenticeships—my two favourite words in the English language—offer a fantastic opportunity for students to develop their skills while securing a degree without any student debt”.
