NUS apologises ‘unreservedly’ to Jewish students

  

Letter comes after investigation found “hostile” culture for Jewish students

The National Union of Students has issued an “unreserved apology” to Jewish students on behalf of the union, saying that they should never be left to tackle antisemitism alone again.

NUS vice-president for higher education Chloe Field said that Jewish students “deserve an apology”, in a letter to Union of Jewish Students president Joel Rosen, published yesterday ahead of the UJS’s annual conference.
