DfE to look at number of UK students on veterinary courses

Junior minister will take concerns raised in Lords back to Department for Education

The Department for Education is to look at the impact of the increase in international student numbers on veterinary education in UK universities.

In the House of Lords on 21 March, crossbench peer Alexander Trees said that while international students “certainly enrich our academic community”, there was a danger that they “can displace UK students” as they typically paid higher tuition fees.
