Centre for net zero aviation and energy aims to halve time to deliver new technologies

King Charles has officially broken ground on a new research facility for net zero aviation and energy at the University of Cambridge.

The New Whittle Laboratory will aim to halve the time it takes to develop technologies for a more sustainable aviation industry, which can typically take six to eight years to reach the point of being considered for commercial use.
