University of Winchester staff strike over pay

Staff take action over wage deductions for those boycotting assessment

Staff at the University of Winchester have begun strike action in protest against pay deductions for those taking part in the national University and College Union marking and assessment boycott.

The UCU claims that management at the university are to make wage deductions of 100 per cent for staff taking part in the ongoing boycott, even though they are continuing to teach as normal.
