Later NSS results date could cause ‘difficulties’ for universities

National Student Survey data to be published in August rather than July this year

Results for the National Student Survey will be published later than usual this year, which is “likely to have an impact” on universities’ ability to use the data in the way they usually would.

Changes to the NSS are being introduced this year as part of a broader effort to reduce the burden of the exercise, including the removal of the question on student satisfaction in England and the introduction of a new question on academic freedom.
