OfS annual report says 30 investigations due to conclude

England’s regulator has published its 2022-23 annual report and accounts

The Office for Students says it plans to publish the outcomes of more than 30 ongoing investigations into higher education providers this summer.

In its annual report, published on 20 June, England’s regulator said it had opened “more than 30 investigations” at universities and colleges in 2022-23—including in response to concerns about student outcomes in particular subjects and in relation to grade inflation.
