University of Edinburgh again produces most carbon emissions in sector
Two-thirds of higher education institutions reduced their carbon footprint in 2021-22, according to official figures.
According to Higher Education Statistics Agency data published on 20 June, 85 out of 130 providers that provided data for 2020-22 reduced carbon emissions during that period.
