Creative graduates needed to plug AI skills gap, survey finds

Business leaders believe creative thinkers “essential” to making most of AI, finds Universities UK

The rise in artificial intelligence means that graduates with creative and critical thinking skills are in more demand than ever, according to Universities UK.

Despite concerns about the threat of automation to jobs, a survey conducted by the vice-chancellors’ group found that that six in 10 UK business leaders (61 per cent) believe that creative thinkers are “essential” to making the most of AI tools.
