Larry Kramer to take over from interim leader Eric Neumayer in April 2024

The London School of Economics and Political Science has appointed the former dean of Stanford University’s law school, Larry Kramer, as its next president and vice-chancellor.

Kramer, who is currently president of the US-based private charitable foundation, the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, will begin his role as LSE’s 18th leader in April 2024. He replaces Eric Neumayer, who was appointed president and vice-chancellor on an interim basis earlier this year.
