Average graduate salaries are on the rise

Graduate Outcomes survey also suggests UK students are more satisfied than overseas ones

The median salary of UK-domiciled graduates has increased from £26,000 to £27,500 year on year, according to the 2024 Graduate Outcomes Survey.

The 2024 results, published by the Higher Education Statistics Agency on 13 June, show that 83 per cent of 2021-22 graduates were in employment, unpaid work, or a mixture of work and study 15 months after graduation. More than six in 10 (61 per cent) were in full-time employment, 6 per cent were in full-time further study and 5 per cent were unemployed.
