Centre for Economic Performance rubbishes idea that there are too many degree holders in Britain

The UK needs more graduates if the economy is to grow following the election, an analysis by the Centre for Economic Performance has suggested.

Research by the CEP, which is based at the London School of Economics and Political Science, found that there are “not enough highly educated people” in the UK and that while the percentage of university graduates is comparable to levels in many other developed countries, there are “too many people who do not manage to achieve at least upper secondary education”.
