Sheffield Hallam University staff set to strike over job cuts

University and College Union leader warns of “unprecedented disruption” unless ongoing disputes are resolved

Sheffield Hallam University staff are set to go on strike for four days in September over job cuts and deteriorating employment conditions.

The University and College Union announced today that its members at the university will strike from 23-26 September, after a ballot in which 87 per cent of participating members voted in favour of industrial action.
