Bio-weapons convention countries promise regular reviews

The US government says it is “happy” with the outcomes of the seventh review conference of the Biological and Toxin Weapons Convention, which concluded with an agreement to better review scientific and technological developments relevant to the convention and build capacity to deal with threats.

The conference, held in Geneva, Switzerland, ended on 22 December.
