New compensation system urged for research injuries
A new system is needed to compensate study subjects in the US for research-related injuries, according to a subcommittee of the Presidential Commission for the Study of Bioethical Issues. The commission’s International Research Panel suggests that a model might be found in the US National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program.
