Summer comes to an end with another shooting at a US university
It is with a heavy heart that the US Playbook returns with news of another awful shooting at a research establishment.
“Universities are supposed to be places of teaching and learning, of research and discovery, of sharing, collaborating and connecting,” said James White, dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill last week.
