Almost 100 learned societies and over 20 universities have written to protest against a bill that would ban the National Institutes of Heath (NIH) from supporting economics research.
Signatories to the 30 July letter to the House of Representatives Committee on Appropriations include the Consortium of Social Science Associations (COSSA), the Association of American Universities and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
