National Cancer Institute head approved by 62 votes for versus 36 against
The Senate has confirmed oncology surgeon Monica Bertagnolli as the latest director of the National Institutes of Health.
Bertagnolli (pictured), director of the National Cancer Institute, was voted through with 62 in favour and 36 against on 7 November.
